Welcome to the Tool Centre – A trading division of K & S McKenzie Ltd.

K&S McKenzie first opened its doors in 1968 in Carlisle, Cumbria. At the time there was a shortage of parts suppliers to the commercial vehicle market in the area and it was this opportunity that Keith McKenzie knew was too good to let pass him by. 50 years on and we are one of the most well-respected motor factors in the North West.

Due to a high demand for tools in recent years we opened our second branch – the Tool Centre in March 2020 which houses a huge variety of tools and equipment. With everything ranging from DIY and entry level to professional and industrial items, we also stock workshop equipment, consumables and are also home of the largest display of tool boxes in the North.

As we stock both new and ‘Factory Refurbished‘ products there is always something available to fit every budget. Alternatively you can ensure you are getting a great deal when shopping with us by looking out for ‘Internet Beating‘ products.

At the Tool Centre we also pride ourselves with our quality of service as there is always someone on hand to help and advise you either in store or over the phone.

The Tool Centre hosts annual sale events, such as Black Friday and Summer sales as well as weekend events and live demonstrations in order to bring special offers to all sectors. We aim to keep everyone up-to-date with new stock, offers and events by posting daily on our Facebook page.

The Tool Centre is also home to the Ratchet Shop, where we’re able to manufacture fully certified custom lashings with a variety of options.
